Counter Solutions selects Vista as technology support partner for end user customers

Vista is delighted to announce that the business has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide market leading technology support services to Counter Solutions’ end user customers.

The long-term, technology-focused relationship will see Vista provide the full IT managed service wrap which includes its technical helpdesk, project services, on-site field engineering and mobilisation functions.

These services will be delivered to Counter Solutions customers across multiple business sectors including hospitality, retail, corporate head office and public sector organisations. The agreement also includes Vista providing a fully managed PCI-P2PE service to Counter Solutions and its merchants.

Counter Solutions has over three decades’ experience supplying the hospitality and public sectors with the latest countertop kiosk, EPOS technology, contactless payments and back-office systems including cashless campus, mobile ordering, Micromarket POS and cashless vending. Via its feature-rich cloud platform, Counter Solutions offers leading software solutions that enables payments and enriches customer engagement.

Managing a growing customer portfolio, Counter Solutions was seeking an agile technology support partner that has a proven track record in providing excellent customer service within the private and public sectors. It was essential that this partner understood the fast-paced, dynamic environments within which its customers operate. This partner also needed to deliver a consistent, high-quality remote and onsite service across multiple locations including stores, restaurants, offices, universities, hospitals, and distribution centres.

Richard Bernans, Managing Director of Counter Solutions, says: “I wanted a proven business within the retail and hospitality sectors that’s primary focus is delighting clients with excellent customer service, as I feel that is important to our clients. This partnership allows the business to adapt more quickly to the increasing demand we are experiencing and provides excellent PCI compliance for our clients.”

James Pepper, CEO of Vista, comments: “We are very excited to have been selected as Counter Solutions’ partner of choice for project, helpdesk and on-premises technology support. Our highly skilled helpdesk analysts and engineering teams will be supporting a range of Counter Solutions’ technologies including cashless campus, self-order and self-service systems in thousands of client locations throughout the UK and Ireland. The teams from both organisations have already hit the ground running with the service going live in the last few weeks and we have recently been awarded a major project to deploy Counter Solutions technology into a major supermarket chain”.
