Vista Technology Support CEO James Pepper discusses whirlwind start to the year for retail technology specialist
Vista Technology Support CEO James Pepper, has taken to social media to discuss an eventful start to 2024.
Established in 1995, Vista Technology Support is a UK and Ireland-based independent provider of technology services in retail, hospitality, and pharmacy.
It manages the full technology life cycle for its clients, specialising in delivering technology transformation projects and providing ongoing remote and onsite support.
And it lays claim to being the only genuine end-to-end IT deployment and support service across the UK and Ireland, where all its services are delivered by its own people.
In a LinkedIn post, Pepper said: “Wow, where has the first five months of 2024 gone? It’s been a whirlwind start to the year and the entire Vista team have been working behind the scenes on some incredibly innovative tech developments that are designed solely with the customer in mind.”
“Our existing Vista Technology Support customers are already recognising the benefits of these developments and the fantastic feedback I have received from so many to date has only confirmed our strategy was the correct one.”
He added: “Since the turn of the year, another positive trend we are seeing is that more customers want to attend in person meetings. We have welcomed more prospective customers through our doors for a tour of our impressive facilities in Cardiff.”
“Theses meetings have been positive, strategic and highly productive. The general consensus from all attendees is that “We should do this more often” and whilst video conferencing has an important role “nothing beats a face-to-face meeting if you really want to move things forward”.
“Another significant theme of the feedback that I have received is about our people. “Passionate, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, a willingness to help, loyal and that Vista’s people culture is something to be proud of” are all phrases’ customers use to describe our colleagues and culture following customer tours of our offices.”
During a recent visit from an existing customer (a tier 1 retailer), the customer referred to Vista as “a vital part of their team, a true partner”, Pepper noted.
He concluded: “I am very proud of the team, they have all played a huge part in Vista’s success.”
“If you are a retail, hospitality or pharmacy business and you want to leverage the best use of technology, people, systems and processes to source, deploy and support your technology, then please do get in touch or follow our LinkedIn page for business and industry insights.”
