Vista Panorama

The beacon that highlights weaknesses in traditional physical and cloud IT infrastructure

Panorama revolutionises the way in which traditional IT services are provided today

Cost reduction, business efficiency, user and customer experience are all topics at the top of every retail and hospitality organisations agenda, however, traditional IT infrastructure is fragmented, when you add Cloud, SaaS, SD Wan, ISP’s into the mix which are technologies that are at the core of an organisations operation there is further fragmentation as these services are provided by a range of service providers each having their own individual contractual SLA’s.

The problem with this service fragmentation is that until now there is has been no single owner of the end to end modern IT architecture it’s been left to IT departments and service desks to resolve the issues through a process of elimination, this often results in IT performance issues can being passed from service provider to service provider to investigate. All of which results in loss of productivity, data, confidence in the technology, poor colleague, and customer experience and ultimately loss of organisational profits.

Panorama Actively Looks For IT Performance Issues

Panorama is not a remote monitoring and management tool that monitors the performance of individual physical IT assets, it is an IT systems beacon that is actively looking for performance issues that will impact Stores, restaurants, cinema’s, pharmacies in fact any organisation whereby colleagues depend on technology to provide their service to the customer.

Physical trading environments are severely impacted when technology does not function as it should, for example, if a coffee shop gains a reputation for being slow to serve or always having tech problems then customers go elsewhere. If a restaurant provides a self-service kiosk option for customers to place an order and the touchscreen is slow to respond the customer will have a poor experience and could go elsewhere for their food. Store colleagues using tablets and other mobile devices that are slow to respond will impact their ability to serve their customers and as a result it has an impact on customer experience.

Vista Panorama is objective is to optimise the technology user experience by taking the same journey, starting at the same entry point, and identifying areas within the entire IT ecosystem whereby the users experience technology could be adversely impacted.

Panorama AI

Panorama AI also uses machine learning to compare the performance of systems in different environments and locations, therefore, comparing one restaurants experience of IT with another, sharing the insights gained in an executive dashboard.

Vista’s IT service desk can access these insights and proactively address the issues, not only escalating the actions required to the correct service provider but being able to advise the service provider of the exact issue being experienced, the times which it occurs and potentially the required actions.

In one example Panorama identified that the routing of customer data was taking eight hops, meaning that the user experience of the technology was that it was often slow to respond. Another example found that a retailers SD Wan was incorrectly configured, causing as severe degradation of services.
