Superdry EPoS and Back-Office Systems Upgrade

The Challenge

As part of Superdry’s EPoS and Back-Office upgrades, Vista was selected by Aptos, as their partner of choice to carry out the systems upgrades across 91 Superdry sites in UK and Ireland, including five of the fashion retailer’s airport stores.

The project involved the staging, delivery and installation of 430 new HP Engage One Pro and 182 HP Engage Flexi Mini-Systems, as well as the decommissioning and storage of all the legacy equipment.

Why Vista?

Vista’s highly experienced Project Team planned the project from start to finish and were on hand to decommission the legacy hardware from the store and return for reuse, repurpose or recycling.

Whilst on site Vista’s project engineers also worked with Superdry’s shop fitters as they updated the store counter tops. Vista’s project engineers were onsite to install the new EPoS and back-office systems also to ensure that the cabling was correctly routed and terminated in the new counters tops.

This was one of the best tech refresh projects I have worked on, the Team at Vista and Aptos worked in partnership with Superdry to deliver the project. From project kick off through to completion, the process was efficient and effective. I really enjoyed working on this project, both Aptos and the customer were very helpful and were engaged in the project from initial planning, testing and through to project completion.
When the customer requested changes, they understood the challenges that PM’s face when making change whilst a project is in flight and allowed Vista time to rework our schedule to accommodate these.

Our staging team were excellent on this project and worked with Aptos and Superdry to ensure that the epos application and configuration were tested prior to project pilot, the team were also able to stage the new Pos systems well in advance of the installation
