The Challenge
As part of Central England Co-operatives store regeneration initiative they needed a service provider that could remove the legacy in-store technology, refit new technology and install 4 self-checkouts in preparation for the stores grand re-launch. All the work needed to be carried out in one evening to minimise disruption to the local community and minimise the economic impact to the client.

The Result
The store was astonishingly transformed within one single evening. It was an extremely well-co-ordinated and collaborative effort carried out with minimal disruption to the local community and economic impact to the client.
The work involved our expert engineers carefully decommissioning the existing in-store technology; refurbishing technology to be retained and reused; re-configuration of the remaining EPoS systems; and provision and integration of the P2Pe PED’s into the newly installed Self-checkouts.
Feedback received from retail ops and customers alike has been really positive and I cannot recall ever seeing such a transformation on a regen project.
